Zoooooooooom, zoooooooooooooooom, they are fast suckers. No wonder the Coyote never could catch him. We have a new friend here in beautiful downtown Nowhereville, TX. A Roadrunner. For those who don't know it is a greyish bird about the size of a crow that runs rather than fly.
We have huge floodlights that we keep on from dusk to dawn. These lights are very bright, they are about 10 feet from our door, and draw a ton of bugs. When these bugs die they fall to the ground. The Roadrunner stops by every day now to dine. He doesn't even mind that we sit only 10 feet from him....but then again he knows he can out run us......
